Indigenous to the mountains of the Alto Adige, Kerner is a cross between Schiava and Riesling, being best suited to warm, south-east facing vineyards. Thanks to the wide temperature difference between day and night, the grapes retain their natural, steely acidity whilst developing intense aromas.

The result is an exhilarating, unoaked white wine with a scented nose, recalling honeysuckle, lime and white peach. Palate is light, racy and vital, with pure, concentrated flavours. This is a characterful wine, which reflects its fresh, mountainous origins.
